Another quality Xerox product. With as much printing as goes on in a hospital/healthcare setting, every entity has to have a herd of reliable printers. Slowly but surely we've found that most of the printers that wind up being weeded out are non-Xerox printers and they're mainly being replaced by Xerox Printers. Three reasons for this, and the 6180 has only further set the opinion in stone. #1 - Quality. They don't break. #2 - Reliability. They print without issue. When there's something that needs done (maintenance-wise) you are warned well ahead of time with straight-forward messages instead of the cryptic cypher on some printer that take a secret decoder ring to figure out. #3 - Printing. It prints a quality product and does it quickly. There's really not much more to say 25 oktober 2011

Good machine but... We got this one as a loaner while our other is being replaced. We like the functionality and print quality, though we haven't had any luck with setup for scanning. We print a lot of images, and the quality is good. A word of warning to anyone considering a multifunction printer - when you are out of toner, NOTHING ELSE WORKS. You can't use the fax, the copier or the scanner. The whole thing just STOPS. That is a major problem. There should be no reason why you can't fax out or scan with no toner, since neither of these functions actually USE toner. 11 juni 2012

Review of Phaser 6180 MFP This is would be a good product, except for the following issues: 1. It will not scan from within software programs, such as Adobe Acrobat. (That is, the "create pdf from scanner" command does not work. 2. When you scan directly from the machine, it takes over one minute to scan a single black and white text only page. 3.Faxing is needlessly time consuming. You have to push the OK button about 4 times for 4 different reasons to initiate sending a fax. Why not be able to just enter the number and press "Send"? 4. If you make a mistake entering a digit in a fax number, you have to start over from the beginning - a waste of time. 5. I have contacted customer service about this (the product supposedly comes with a one-year on-site warranty), but they are no help. These are the reasons I cannot recommend the product. 10 mei 2012

The prints look great While we had some connectivity issues, Xerox helped us out, so that was great. We print a lot each day and I have been continually impressed with the quality. 10 mei 2012

This product serves our small office of 3 users in a most efficient manner. We have a small office with 3 computers jointly using the same Phaser printer. With the use of the different trays, we very seldom run into issues with more than 1 person wanting to use printer for large print jobs at the same time. 10 mei 2012

Dependable, Flexible, and Fast I bought this unit because it was a multi-function product. In our office we use all aspects of the 6180MFP, as a fax, copier, and scanner in our everyday work. It starts quickly and prints in colour or black n' white which is great. The ability to print on different materials such as envelopes and card stock is an added bonus. Great Product! 10 mei 2012

Good printer This printer is pretty efficient. It has the same print quality as our 7435 multifunctions. The only negative comment I had from the user who has the printer in her office is that it is noisy. This printer might have been better off in a common area instead of someone's office. 10 mei 2012

Uses colour toner for black print / MPT issue / Fax issue By drawing on colour toner when printing black, the cost per page is doubled. When pages are in MPT, it is not automatic the paper is drawn from this tray. We had to set up different configurations for each paper tray. Fax machine needed support service call to change settings as Xerox claimed fax line was poor quality - fax machine worked fine on the cheaper brother machine 10 mei 2012
