Celebrating the Launch of CaPE

It Took a Village: Celebrating the Launch of CaPE, Our 11th Employee Resource Group for Caregivers and Parents

At Xerox, we’ve long believed that thriving at work shouldn’t mean sacrificing the moments that matter most at home.

In honor of National Parents Day, celebrated on July 27, 2025, Xerox proudly launched Caregivers and Parents Engaged (CaPE)—our eleventh Employee Resource Group (ERG), created to support, empower, and connect employees who are caregivers, parents, or champions of those in caregiving roles.

Whether raising children, caring for aging parents, supporting a partner, or navigating the complexities of special needs care, CaPE becomes a village—a space where stories matter and experiences are valued.

“CaPE fosters an inclusive and supportive environment at Xerox where caregivers, parents, and allies are valued, empowered and connected,” says Lauren Miller, Global President of CaPE. “We aim to create a community and workplace culture that drives positive change within and beyond our organization.”

Why CaPE Matters

Caregiving and parenting comes with unique challenges—especially in the workplace. CaPE offers:

  • Resources and workshops to support work-life integration

  • Open discussions and events that reflect diverse caregiving realities

  • A safe space to bring one’s whole self to work

From flexible schedules to empathetic leadership, CaPE helps redefine what it means to balance care and career.

“I was promoted two weeks before my third baby was born,” shares Lauren. “My leader was incredible through that transition. My schedule works around my life—not the other way around.”

The CaPE Village Comes to Life

CaPE is more than a support group—it is a movement. A place to celebrate parenting wins, share tough moments and build lasting connections.

The virtual launch party on August 12 marked the beginning of a vibrant community. Members explored resources and updates through the CaPE online hub. The CaPE Village welcomed caregivers, parents, and allies from across the organization

“CaPE was created because no one should have to choose between being present at home and thriving at work,” explains Lauren. “Caregiving requires strength, flexibility and relentless love. It also takes a village—and CaPE is about building that village.”

Whether you’re a parent, caregiver, or ally, CaPE is here to support, empower and connect you. Open to non-Xerox employees.
